Would pay more attention if they played with a normal sized ball or if they replaced every player with a mediocre looking girl (an upgrade) and then played naked and the game losers each had to give Deshauwn Watson a public massage...one at a time and then were killed if he didn't get hard. There are formulas, but the bottom line is basically any school that has a football team, to balance schollies, you take 75 (or so) scholarships from other men's teams, pick from wrestling, soccer, track, cross country, swimming, lacrosse, hockey, etc until you have eliminated 75 young men.
Stuff happens like a gal comes in 10th in her state cross country gets full ride to ACC type school, guy comes in 2nd, same state, gets nothing.
Mens teams take in almost all the revenue with football & hoops... gals enjoy the benefits, but complain about everything.

I love women's tennis, softball and volleyball
But nobody and i mean literally nobody wants to watch garbage like women's bball
WNBA/women's basketball is like that girl who's thinks she's hot but far from it.
Except there's a large group of them who think people people Ike them but we don't
